OVSARDA Current Needs
1. The organization needs a new boat, motor and trailer - 50% of the searches we respond to are water searches. Our current boat has served us well, but we are in need of replacement gear, an upgraded motor to increase our safety on the water.
2. A laptop - while on searches, we need to download GPS data collected by teams in the field, to help plan future search tasks.
3. A place to store the boat: in the summer, boat needs to be in East Ottawa, where we can quickly access it for searches. In winter, we simply need a place to park the boat.
