Ottawa Valley Search and Rescue Dog Association (OVSARDA)
OVSARDA is a volunteer organization, whose primary reason for being is to provide highly trained and certified search dogs and handlers to official agencies upon request. We are committed to the missing person and will assist in any way possible to bring that person home safely.
Based in the National Capital Region, OVSARDA has attended searches on both the Quebec and the Ontario side of the Ottawa River. Gatineau Park, with its hectares of land and many kilometers of trails, is a frequent search site. OVSARDA also has conducted water searches in several of the thousand lakes that dot Eastern Ontario's landscape.
